I am writing in Bowyer's absence with reference to your letter of the 25th of May about the Hong Kong triangulation. We have now heard from the Colony in reply to thrt despatch, of

which a copy was sent to you on the 13th of June, that they accept your offer to put out the work of computation at an estimated cost of £30.

I assume that you will not require anything official, and will now make the necessary arrangements.
